Eating the Silence
Rolf, a hemiplegic, spends his days dozing on a sofa bed in his dusty apartment. On TV, he learns of a deadly pandemic sweeping around the globe. While the world around him falls apart, he bears witness to it on his screen with relish. When his nurse fails to visit him, Rolf realizes that his survival is anything but certain.
Stille essen
Der halbseitig gelähmte Rolf dämmert seine Tage auf einem Sofabett in seiner staubigen Wohnung dahin. Im TV erfährt er von einer tödlichen Pandemie, die den Globus überrollt. Während die Welt um ihn herum den Bach runter geht, schaut er genüsslich am Fernseher dabei zu. Als die Besuche seines Pflegers ausbleiben, muss Rolf erkennen, dass auch sein Überleben alles andere als sicher ist.
Manger le Silence
Rolf, hémiplégique, passe ses journées sur le canapé-lit de son appartement poussiéreux. Il apprend à la télévision qu’une pandémie mortelle déferle sur la planète. Alors que le monde qui l’entoure s’écroule, il en témoigne sur son écran avec délectation. Lorsque son aide-soignant suspend ses visites, Rolf doit reconnaître que même sa survie est incertaine.
Mangiare il Silenzio
Rolf, emiplegico, trascorre le sue giornate sul divano letto del suo appartamento polveroso. Guardando la TV, scopre che una pandemia mortale sta travolgendo tutto il pianeta. Mentre il mondo intorno a lui crolla, lui lo testimonia sullo schermo con piacere. E quando il suo infermiere sospende le visite, Rolf si rende conto che è la sua stessa sopravvivenza a essere messa in questione.

Enquanto o mundo ao seu redor desmorona, ele testemunha isso em sua tela com prazer. Quando sua enfermeira não o visita, Rolf percebe que sua sobrevivência é tudo menos certa.
